Advisory board
In 2009, FACTON established an advisory board to support the development of the company. The board consists of leading industry experts and academics. The advisory board provides the Management Team with advice and support with regard to important strategic and operational issues as well as by linking FACTON to a strong network of experts.
Prof. Dr. Bernd Gottschalk, Chairman of the Advisory Board
From 1972 Prof. Dr. Bernd Gottschalk worked in different departments within the Daimler Benz Corporation, where he held several international positions, e.g. he served as President of Mercedes-Benz do Brasil. In 1992 Mr. Gottschalk was appointed to the Board of Executive Members for Commercial Vehicles Worldwide. In 1997 he was elected president of the German Automotive Association (VDA). With more than ten years in this position he became the longest-serving VDA-president ever. Prof. Dr. Gottschalk is also CEO and founder of the AutoValue GmbH and member of the Supervisory and Advisory Boards of Schaeffler, Voith, Plastic Omnium, Roche, WOCO, Hay Group and the Allianz Group.
