Thoralf Nehls, born in 1967, with a Degree in Mechanical Engineering, founded I-BN GmbH in 1997 after holding management positions at Mercedes Benz AG and Rücker GmbH. I-BN has grown to be an engineering services company with about 120 employees and 7 locations in Germany. Since 1998 Thoralf has been executive stockholder of FACTON GmbH.

Martin Nehls, CEO Strategy

Martin Nehls, born in 1970, with a Business Degree, held positions in Finance at DaimlerChrysler AG and was CFO of I-BN GmbH before founding FACTON. Martin Nehls brings his deep expertise in product cost management to FACTON. He is responsible for launching the company in the North American market.

Udo Ulbrich, CFO

Udo Ulbrich, born in 1966, has been working for 16 years in upper management of medium-sized companies. Up to now, the focus of his responsibilities were the support of all areas of the business regarding commercial aspects, process improvements and controlling as well as accompanying businesses in extraordinary growth phases. At FACTON he is responsible for the areas of personnel, finance and legal where his personal experiences and his technical understanding will benefit him enormously.

Olaf Dierig, Vice President Sales - Eu

Olaf Dierig, born in 1964, has a Business Degree and over 20 years of sales experience in the IT and software industry. From 2003 to 2006 Olaf Dierig was Managing Director at Hummingbird. Between 2000 and 2003 he worked as Sales Manager at Business Objects where he was responsible for the acquisition and development of strategically important partners as well as the setup of the sales office in Austria. Prior to joining FACTON, Olaf worked as an independent consultant supporting well-known IT companies such as Infor and Agresso with the setup of their distribution channels in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. As Vice President of Sales at FACTON, Olaf Dierig is responsible for partner- and direct sales in Europe.

Thomas Salva, Vice President Sales – US

Thomas Salva, born in 1958, has a degree in Industrial Technology with 10 years of manufacturing- and 18 years of IT experience. From 1991 to 1994 he worked at debis Systemhaus (now T-Systems) in Stuttgart in consulting, project management and was responsible for building the European partner channel for their PLM software products. In 1995 he established the 1st office of debis in the USA, with the task to build the US PLM business. He spent the next 12 years as Vice President expanding the PLM profit center, mainly with OEM accounts in the automotive and aerospace industries from coast to coast. Finally, at T-Systems Thomas was responsible for aerospace accounts, service management for the Daimler Group and PLM consulting. As Vice President of Sales at FACTON Inc., Tom is responsible for the direct and channel sales in North America.

James Denman, Vice President Research & Development

James Denman, born in 1968 and originally from Great Britain, has a Master's degree from the University of Cambridge in Industrial Engineering. He later acquired an MBA at INSEAD Business School. After being responsible for planning and project management at a large consumer goods company he led various projects at McKinsey & Company. Before he joined FACTON he was Finance Manager for the Industrial Automation division at Moeller GmbH. At FACTON he leads the area of Research and Development.

John Benad, VICE PRESIDENT Business Development, Product Management & Marketing

Dipl.-Inf. John Benad, born in 1978, has a master degree in Computer Engeneering and Psychology from the Dresden University of Technology. He worked in various software- and hardware companies before he joined FACTON. First he managed FACTON's Product Development. Afterwards he built up the Service Business as Head of Consulting. Due to his projects he supported the successfull market entry of FACTON. Currently he leads the areas of Business Development and Product Management and is responsible for Marketing Management. 

Christoph Müller, VICE PRESIDENT Professional Services

Christoph Müller, born in 1954, has a master degree in sociology and educational science. He got his expert knowledge in IT at Siemens. He has 20 years of management experience in the IT and Software Industry e.g. at Lufthansa Systems, Software AG und Saperion. At FACTON Christoph Müller leads the area of Professional Services.
