Process optimization projects are carried out in three effective steps.

The level of detail and the duration of each project varies depending on the set goals and scope of the undertaking. Here are the steps FACTON takes in a process optimization project:

  1. Status quo analysis: FACTON specialists evaluate the existing structures, processes and methods using standardized tools and benchmarks. For this purpose, the business consultants might use the tried and tested FACTON benefit analysis tool, which evaluates the strengths and weaknesses at management and operations levels using a detailed questionnaire. FACTON uses a similar approach to assess the current methods and IT systems.
  2. Workshops for the definition of targets: The results of the status quo analysis are discussed with the client in workshops in order to identify the desired state. Based on the objectives, the team defines and prioritizes the necessary next actions.
  3. Identification of measures for improvement: In a third step, FACTON develops the measures to be taken to achieve the set goals. In this process, the team quantifies the cost savings and draws up an implementation plan in cooperation with the client.

A joint steering committee finally approves the measures for implementation. Upon request, FACTON also implements the improvement measures.
