FACTON User Group Shares Best Practices in Enterprise Product Costing: Semi-annual Conference Offers Networking and Educational Opportunities
FACTON, the leader in Enterprise Product Costing (EPC), held its semi-annual North America User Conference in Troy, Michigan, on October 18, 2018. The conference was attended by nearly 60 customers and partners, with presentations by FACTON customers: DURA Automotive, TE Connectivity and TI Automotive. It featured guest speaker Cheryl Thompson, Founder of CADIA, and Director of Prototype Operations at American Axle and Manufacturing.
Conference attendees shared best practices to effectively manage automotive costing and quoting requirements and FACTON customers shared methods for leveraging cost management processes and cost analytics. Keynote speaker, CADIA Founder and Director of Prototype Operations at American Axle and Manufacturing Cheryl Thompson addressed the importance of diversity in management and how it positively impacts profitability.
“The FACTON User Conference presents a tremendous opportunity for our associates to share best practices in costing and quoting,” stated President FACTON, Inc. Ruediger Stern. “It’s apparent that to achieve maximum profitability you must have transparency into all of the components throughout the enterprise that impact the final cost. The FACTON EPC Suite provides that critical visibility.”
“It’s exciting and extremely useful to share best practices with other FACTON EPC users” said North America FACTON User Group Board Member and TI Automotive Global Estimating Manager David LaRoe. “FACTON EPC enables us to make our daily tasks easier and faster. The conference is the ideal venue to learn how others drive maximum profitability through leveraging the robust functionality of FACTON EPC.”
The next FACTON User Conference is scheduled for June of 2019.
